I've been on the road lately, traveling through Morocco, Spain, and Portugal. One of my last stops is place called Sintra, Portugal. The castle and garden, atop an incredible mountain not far from Lisbon, was the "Alice in Wonderland" playground for the Portuguese Royalty for many years. Today, the site is open to the public and a favorite weekend destination of many Lisboans. I wasn't expecting it, but the place is nothing short of magical. It's high on my places of have-to-see places in the world. I'll get up more photos of the place later. For now, a teaser of my friend tim descending through the mossy, green wonderland of Castelo dos Mouros (Castle of the Moors).
